Indoor Rock Climbing
One of our patrol leaders is a very competitive rock climber. She planned a night out of the hall for her gold scout award. The scouts had a ball and they got to climb and belay.

The inaugural international first Kelburn 1909 invitational debate.
Well done to all the scouts working to develop their public speaking skills. After three nights work, the scouts will have earned their debating badge. We learned that the group has some very good public speakers, and given a bit of structure can make a very good argument.

Rope Throwing

Kelburn Mid-Winter Tramp
The mid winter tramp has become a bit of Kelburn tradition. A well timed weather window allowed fifteen scouts, one vetnurer (from Endeavour Venturers) and two scout leaders to tramp into the Orongaorongas for an overnight at Raukawa Lodge.

Jamboree on the Trail

ANZAC Day preparation
